Dan Savage, homosexual anti-bully activist known for the “It Gets Better” campaign, recently bullied Christian teenagers in attendance at a national journalism conference. Fox News reports that around 100 teens walked out in protest as Savage ridiculed the Bible and those who follow the Bible’s teachings on homosexuality.
I am encouraged that so many teens had the courage and discernment to stand up and leave. Savage repeatedly mentions that he and others have chosen to “ignore the Bible” and its teachings on moral issues.
This behavior is nothing new as the Apostle Paul mentions those who suppress their own knowledge of God, exhanging the glory of their creator for the created, choosing to worship anything or anyone rather than God.
Mr. Savage and his partner desperately need the gospel and grace of the Lord Jesus who has shed his blood to pay for the sins of all kinds of men. It is my hope that the Lord’s saving grace reaches Mr. Savage.
