C.S. Lewis College may soon be a reality in Northfield, Massachusetts. The C.S. Lewis Foundation is still raising money for the college but is confident they will secure the funds needed to open the first college centered on the teachings of C.S. Lewis.

From the NY Daily News:

One of the most well-known Oxford professors in history may have his own college soon – right here in the United States. Two years ago, the C.S. Lewis Foundation announced its intent to found a college in honor of the late writer, and has been steadily working towards that goal. The new goal is to raise $10-$15 million to once again become the sole recipient of the campus site. At the same time, Hobby Lobby is looking for other beneficiaries. If the C.S. Lewis Foundation cannot regain its sole beneficiary status, Hobby Lobby has offered it the opportunity of joint ownership with another organization.
