Sunday at Southern Baptist Convention 2012 Annual Meeting
Yesterday was fairly short as we arrived in NOLA around 5 p.m.
Here is a brief summary of the happenings thus far.
Sunday – Day 1
Arrived at hotel, checked in, smelled the remains of the Rastafarian guests who previously stayed in our room. Thanked God for air conditioning.
Got to have good conversation with some LifeWay guys and other bloggers over at the Hilton which was a great blessing and treat.
Met up with some family friends and hit up Cafe Du Monde. Had my first American waiter and caught completely off guard by his perfect English. Love me some foreign waiters at Cafe Du Monde. Hardly the same experience without them. More great conversations about SBC issues.
In Sum:
Loving how the Lord has placed certain individuals in my path to discuss various topics.
Thankful to be here and experience such an historic Annual Meeting.
Blessed to meet so many fellow Southern Baptist brothers in Christ.
