Liberty University is none too pleased with Southern Baptist gadfly Peter Lumpkins’ recent post regarding LU’s Board of Trustees ruling to disapprove of the invitation of Mark Driscoll and his “Real Marriage” book tour. In the post, Lumpkins questions and criticizes the leadership of LU President Jerry Falwell Jr. for inviting Driscoll, among other criticisms.

Danny Akin on Why He Endorsed Driscoll’s “Real Marriage”

Dr. Danny Akin, president of Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, has recently written an article on why he endorsed Mark Driscoll’s new book on marriage titled Real Marriage. The book has been met with much criticism because of the detailed language used and intimate topics discussed, not to mention what Driscoll views as biblically appropriate marriage bed activities.
