Last month, Dr. Stephen Wellum of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary gave an address to faculty and students on the doctrine of limited atonement (particular redemption) and how “a consistent Baptist ecclesiology is best defended by the embrace of a definite view of the atonement.”

Wellum does a superb job defending the doctrine in light of Christ as High Priest and why Baptist ecclesiology and its regenerate church membership should lead to an affirmation of particular redemption.

If you are on the fence about the doctrine, or outright hate it, you should definitely listen to the lecture. You can stream or download the .mp3 here.
