Just over 6 years ago, Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (SEBTS) president Danny Akin penned a letter that would be emailed to all SEBTS students. His letter was written after several prominent Southern Baptists were quoted in different media saying downright absurdities regarding Calvinism and Southern Baptist Calvinists.

In light of the continued reckless and unsupported statements regarding our Calvinist brothers and sisters in the Southern Baptist Convention, I thought reposting Dr. Akin’s email would serve us all well.

I am very thankful for and encouraged by Dr. Akin’s leadership in the SBC and his gentle spirit in this letter. I have much to learn from him. Continue Reading…
