Yesterday evening, from 6 p.m. to midnight, LifeWay simulcasted 6 hours of biblical teaching and prayer for persecuted Christians around the world. The event, called Secret Church, is led my “Radical” author and pastor David Platt of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama.

Here are a few laughable tweets from the twittersphere this week. Emir Caner’s tweet of SWBTS President Paige Patterson’s anti-Reformed statement takes the cake. If you are curious what Patterson meant by the statement, Malcolm Yarnell offers his interpretation. Ergun Caner links the attendance of seminary students at a conference held at their own seminary, for school credit, as a powerful statement of Anabaptist loyalty. Evangelist Billy Ingram gives a drive-by smattering of the evils of Calvinism. Zach Wagner “proves” Calvinism breeds anger.
