Urgent Need Regarding Louisiana College: Prayer

PrayI am not at liberty to say much right now, but I will share what I can. I was informed yesterday that my site, The Daily Bleat, Drew Wales’ site, SBC Heritage, and LCStudents.org are now blocked on campus internet. Students are no longer able to access these sites via the campus network.

I was also informed that I, and Drew Wales, are officially under investigation by the administration of Louisiana College for possible violations of the student handbook, specifically “making disparaging comments” about Louisiana College and/or college faculty/administration.

That is all I can say right now but I ask for your prayers for the Louisiana College administration, Dr. Joe Aguillard, Drew Wales, and myself. I do not know exactly what will happen in the coming days but will update you when I am able. Thank you for your prayers and support during these difficult times at Louisiana College.

    Praying for you guys and LC. For what’s its worth, from what I’ve read, you guys are innocent of those charges.

      This was the modus operandi of the past, too. My dissertation in progress explores much of the dysfunction with LC over the past two decades. I am truly sorry you are enduring this, but such is the case when the College is a political football.

    Truly sorry to hear this brother. Will pray for you and Drew. I don’t believe you or Drew have been disparaging. You should have every right to disagree with the recent moves of the LC “high ups,” and freely express your disagreements. Such doesn’t mean you are belittling or discrediting anyone. In fact, you’ve always been rather fair and even-tempered. If they do end up kicking you and Drew out of LC, try not to let it get to you. There are plenty of other good schools out there. God will continue to use you in a mighty way. Such a move may actually work against LC in the long run (exposing their unwillingness to approach this issues rationally and fairly).
